Patient Billing and Collection

Balances due from patients (including deductibles, co-insurance, non-covered charges, and true self-pay services) are summarized to billing statements and mailed to guarantors on a daily basis.

Allowances and discounts for self-pay pricing, package pricing, financial assistance, and other similar circumstances are recorded in accordance with client policies and preferences prior to billing.

Patient payments are accepted via mail, over the phone, and through a secure payment portal.

Questions and concerns regarding patient statements are handled by the Customer Service team.

The Customer Service team makes outbound calls to patients regarding aged outstanding balances.

Patient concerns and complaints are tracked and communicated to clients where appropriate.
